Remember we cannot test our way out of this pandemic and comparing us to strongly regulated countries makes it completely impossible to hold everyone accountable for their own actions

Let's see. MSM reports the sky is falling, WHO contradicts itself weekly, the Doctors are split in their opinions and professional beliefs. The original plan was thrown out the window and everyone blames Trump.

The fact of the matter is yes, there are more positives today then there were yesterday. That is to be expected. What the MSMs fail to report is the majority of these positives are in people with no symptoms. Just like any other virus in the world. If we started testing everyone for Swine flue, or MERS or SARS or Bird Flu would we have a rising line on the graph? You bet we would! Why? Because you can only test so many each day and most graphs have been cumulative totals.

Do we have more deaths today then yesterday? Who knows for sure. As some people have already posted here it is blindingly obvious that states like Texas are going to die off in the next 3 weeks. What the charts do not take into account are all the other things going on in each case. For those that died yesterday, how long have they been infected? How long were they treated? Did they already have a suppressed immune system (old age, diabetes, over weight, cancer, pneumonia, etc)? And it has already been shown that Covid may be positive in the tests but had nothing to do with the person passing away. Yet it is still reported as a Covid death.

Now, the original plan was 14 days of lock down then move back to business as almost usual. But no. Panic set in and many bought it hook, line and sinker. The political circles found the next great whale to beat and beat it they did. Extend the lock down. Extend it again! Blame Trump for not doing enough (he put it where it belonged, in the State Governor's hands) and extend it yet again. Let's throw away the science of getting enough of a padding for the medical system to handle it and then let nature take its course in the majority who do not suffer from the effects. But no! We report kids got it *SHOCK* *GNASH TEETH* - and NEVER report that the kids have it and are totally fine. Now, do the same with the teenagers, young adults and middle aged adults. Oh my! Look at how many have caught *THIS DEADLY DISEASE*. And yes, I am sure there are those singular cases that will make headlines to PROVE how bad it all is. <sigh/> Fear mongers rule the papers and other news media.

I've now had enough friends go in to get tested, fill out the paperwork, then reschedule as it would be a 2 or 3 hour wait. They never did make it back in for the tests but they did receive their results that they tested positive. How does that work?! Sweden has proved that the original plan would have worked. New York has proved that if you force the virus into elderly care facilities too many will die that did not have to.

But, this is the age of common core math...
