Whitmer orders mask use in Michigan, violators could be fined up to $500

7/12/20. GOV Whitmer shutting up the state— AGAIN. Businesses all over are staggering and trying to get on their feet but the Gov hits everyone hard, again! Now businesses can have licenses pulled for not enforcing every customer to have a mask and non mask wearers subject to $500 fine.
Of note: The extension of her executive authority under Mich law calls for Legislators to back her extension which they did NOT. Whitmer currently being sued by Legislature, businesses and private citizens.
