When I read this story I was disgusted that this individual tried to get a lower sentence by using stolen valor and two Purple Hearts. I'm very elated that this ploy didn't work and this offended was charged additional penalties in addition to his original firearm charges. Maybe the additional year and 100,000 fine will help him learn from his actions!!!!
