PO1 Tony Holland $10? Was that cheaper than our M-3 Submachine Gun?

The M-3 Grease Gun certainly looked inexpensive to me when it was the subject of the first ‘class’ I conducted as a new SGT-5 in 1953.

I had one a for a few years before I upgraded (to a M3 grease gun). When I wore the springs out in it, you could squeeze the trigger and it would slam fire and run away. With new springs you could crack of single rounds, bursts, etc.
