I can't help but think that the author is projecting his own perception of the criminals and somehow blaming Leftists and Democrats. Do Black people somehow show such reverence for criminals that they "racialize crime?"

Responsible citizens must be united against crime in all its forms and in every color. That unites us under the Law. Dividing us by class or color has never made us stronger.
