The sad thing is, it is rarely the party (individual or group, in this case Aunt Jemima's great grandson) themselves that make the claim these days. Third party extremist groups (often, online mobs) make the claim of racism (or xenophobia, or homophobia, or transphobia) without substantiation or merit, and FEAR does the rest. Fear the mob. Bow to the mob. Or else. Makes me sick.

They want to remove a statue of Lincoln because an African American is kneeling in front of it. It was paid for by freed slaves who thought it was appropriate. Again, no knowledge of history and even with the internet at their fingertips they are too lazy to find out anything.
