Allsides - they are a credible bias assessment platform. Kudos to NPR for admitting their mistake...kind of.
Media Bias Fact Check is my go-to but they lean a little left as well.

I would say from what I know that there is a lot to digest on this one.
The driver frankly should have seen the protesters blocking the street and hung a left.
The protesters shouldn't have run up on the car like that, and the dumbass standing right in front of the car banging on the hood was begging to be run over.
The people brandishing a gun and threatening the driver are guilty of assault.
Bad decisions, all around, but people often make bad decisions when part of a mob or under stress.
As for NPR, that headline is indefensible. I've seen cars used as weapons on cops, on protesters, on barricades... to pretend that some kind of kamikaze corps has formed off this situation is just straight irresponsible.
