Trumps priority in hiring is finding “yes” people. Not much has been said in hiring the Director of DHS. He has no experience, but was charged to provide joint leadership to all the federal entities in national disaster planning and mitigation, but he was AWOL. This significantly precluded any kind of coherent and comprehensive actions by the administration.

He has called many people who quit or was fired by Trump. The media asked him why he keeps hiring people like that.
