All Stats Matter

Language alert on this. The statistics do not support targeting of African Americans. But they definitely show overreach and overreaction on the part of some police officers. And why do we require police to arrest someone who is drunk and asleep even if in a vehicle instead of confiscating his or her keys, putting them in a cab or dropping them at home to sleep it off and giving them a ticket to appear in court?
