Thoughts? Guess I'm going have to go try one, but 7.62 is still my cartridge of choice for most hunting applications.

So the "story" does not reveal which 6.8 cartridge they chose....meaning this could be a good choice or a stupid one that is just so some 2 star can get his 3rd star having been "instrumental in adoption of the army's new service cartridge"

I hadn't heard of this until the report came out that the Army was making a move to the 6.8mm. On paper, it looks promising. Thinking about building a 6.8 upper to test it out.
