Nice story, but poll #'s don't really mean anything. It all depends on the methodology of the questioning. What matters is people getting their a@@es to the polls to vote. I live in Houston, and we had a conservative running for mayor that would have been lightyears better than our current mayor. He only lost by a relatively small # of votes. I had someone b#tching to me about the mayor, and I asked them if they voted, and they hadn't. I told them they were idiots and had no right to complain. Vote, and then you can complain. Otherwise, it is partly your fault.

His numbers had nowhere else to go. From dreadful to dismal, great job.
