Man, someone needs to make you a sandwich. His comment was oafish but true. The top 10 countries in population (in order)are China, India, United States, Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Russia and Mexico. Just based on population we should be top 3 with infections. We have many more confirmed infections because we have done many times the amount of testing than any other country. The huge number of infections shows how infectious and wide spread the virus is.
It is fairly easy to understand why he would think that testing makes us look bad because the left (holding a mirror up to you) and the media have beaten him and this administration over the head with the numbers while giving China a pass. He never said to stop testing he just said something out loud that many people were thinking.
Now go eat that sandwich.
