From a counselor's point of view (and I am just one), this one differs in that kids are isolated from their natural peer groups and are forced to connect even more virtually than they usually do. In other disaster situations, people are together physically, we are able to reach out and touch each other; not so here. I think a lot of kids are finding that the virtual world is not as supportive as they once assumed it would be. That's what I am getting from the young teens.
