This is insane for a football stadium. It’s longer than the field itself. Just feels like a total waste of money. I would hate to see the maintenance costs on this thing. Worst yet, this scoreboard is so heavy I hope it’s earthquake tremor resistant. What do ya think?

Baseball was made for radio. Basketball and hockey can only truly be appreciated at the arena. It appears that someone has finally figured out that football is a sport made for television. No matter where you sit in the stadium, action is likely to happen somewhere "over there". So, if you're going to be watching the game on a television screen, why not from the comfort of your own home?

Interesting point. I’ve always enjoyed football games from a midfield perspective whether I’m there or on tv. Always hated when the cameraman gets fooled too.
