Depends on a lot of factors... and it is killing some people with out preconditions

But it really is a bit apples to oranges because it is averaging those other deaths over the full year as we don't have daily figures for them. So it shows Influenza&Pneumonia as having 152 daily deaths (or almost 56k last year) but it is very likely that the number of deaths in any day in January is much higher than the daily deaths in, say, August. So the influenza deaths may likewise spike, given the right time of year.
