Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs from a cold, rainy Northern Virginia. I love the topic. We are seeing this in action right now. Americans are think outside the box folks; we look for ways to do things if we are allowed to do so. Businesses are pivoting quickly to provide what is needed right now: masks, gowns, sanitizer, tests, and now ventilators. In some places, no one would even try any of that without direction and by the time they did, it would be too late to be useful. We are only as limited as we think we are.
I am working on a project for the Red Cross that is outside the usual for them and we were asked to get it done within two weeks (these usually take almost a year for new projects) and we will be ready to test run next week. I am pleased and proud to be a part of the effort. In addition, I am going to join a number of my volunteer buddies and begin helping out at some of the local blood drives. No limits to what we can do if we try!
