Spin on this was not very good.
But clarifications after policy proclamations are extremely commonplace.
What I find distressing is that the President's team that drafted that speech did not have good information in it, which means either Trump went off script and misled people OR the people didn't have good information in the speech.
Get the information right. We'll wait an hour longer so you can get the policies accurate.

Whether it is coming from the White House, CNN, or CDC, I have not found the information to be very good period. Never have I worn a space suit for droplet or airborne infection and you see people doing it like out of the movie Contagion. People are expecting the President to lead, whether it be the left or the right and most don't care if he puts out bad info, they are ignorant enough that just want him behind the podium. I am with you, if they cannot put out correct information, they should not put out any.
