The Army will need new units to man new weapons systems

We are in an interesting time as we are attempting develop laser, rail gun, hypersonic missiles, and defensive weapons for vehicles, planes, and ships. The new weapons might become Revolutions in Military Affairs (RMA) or technology that will give a military an edge in war. A prime example is the German tanks in WWII. They gave the Germans a distinct advantage.

New weapon systems are no use without the troops to use them.
