This is the year of the military Veteran, under the present administration, more Veterans are working now than ever before and many are disabled Veterans; with the advent of the personal computer and employers who are ok with off-site employees, many of our brothers and sisters who have mental and or physical challenges that prevent them from working in the normal office environment can now work from "their" home station.
Let's not also forget, that our Military is being "rebuilt" (it took a devastating hit under the 8 years of Obama) now, better than ever and since 2017 our men and women in uniform, retirees and pensioners have seen their base pay increase to over 10% and the proposed defense budget of 2021 will add another 3%, bringing the total to 13.2% since President Trump was sworn in as our Commander-In-Chief on January 20, 2017, and speaking of that date, I just saw an interview with Hillary Clinton where she was exposing on sitting next to Former President Bush 43 at the Inauguration and when the newly elected President Trump finishes his speech, they both look at each other and ask basically the same question to each other... "What the hell was that all about".
Allow me to respond... Newly elected President Trumps gave a 16-minute inaugural address of 1,433 words and this is "what the hell that was all about" - It was about first and foremost putting America First... it was about making America Strong and Independent of other nations... It was about a President who had no obligation to any political party and his allegiance was to the American Citizens who elected him... It was about being proud to be an American and taking care of our people back home before we squander hundreds of millions of taxpayer's dollars overseas and... Now we know, it was all about "Promises Made - Promises Kept".
