SSG Robert Mark Odom - In my view, the title of this article by Peter Bergen, is misleading and another anti-trump push by CNN to disparage our President and Commander in Chief... It is time to move on...

Thanks for the article, but I thought it was going to be much more than it was. The article only refers to three (3) RETIRED general officers who offered critiques of the president. Retired GOs have no ability to "revolt." The word "revolt" in this case is just wrong, since retired GOs cannot "rise in rebellion" against the president. Three retired generals out of thousands of retired generals and hundreds of active duty generals. The title indicates "the generals" are rising in rebellion against Trump, but actually not one general has "revolted." This is CNN at its worst.

It’s a bit of poetic license referring to a previous historical event called “the generals’ revolt”
I can’t seem to find it but I believe similar phrasing was used in a literature piece...could be misremembering there

Retired senior military officers tend to avoid weighing in on politics. But not always.
There needs to be a hurt feelings tour and all of those upset with their termination should go and cry.

SFC (Verify To See) because you don't know how well people are going to do the job until they're there. Remember McNamara? He was supposed to be the greatest SecDef in the world but he shit all over his job and was a miserable failure. Previously to SecDef he was a VERY successful executive at Ford, I believe. Putting the right people in the right jobs is always a crapshoot.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Everyone that works for Trump he is in charge. Also known as Mr. President. It is not bullying when you have authority to say how it is going to be.
