I would say rigging the primary last election and the DNC e-mail leak cracked the foundation, and this fanatical fixation on Trump, instead of fixing themselves, and holding themselves accountable instead of calling everyone who didn't vote for Hilliary a Nazi, Racist, Bigot, along with this push towards socialism prevalent in the party broke the party. It is fractured between the classic liberal and the progressive socialist youth, wheras this whole 3 1/2 years of doggedly witch hunting Trump has brought the republicans closer to unity.

Seriously, Russia collusion, obstruction, Quid pro Quo - all have done nothing but help Trump - He has come out of this in a better position then when he went in - Pelosi tearing up the speech was the signs of a opponent who has realized that anything she or her party does is futile
