Navy's Top Admiral Has No Apologies Over Carrier Lincoln's Extra-Long Deployment

It happens...that's life in the Fleet. You don't just hop on board, turn the key, and head off to sea...it takes months to prepare for a deployment. There's every issue imaginable, and then some...it's nice when things go as planned, but they rarely go "as planned". Better a well-broken in crew gets extended (and gets more at sea credit/pay/etc.) than a soup-sandwich be sent out set up for disaster.
