I've had a couple thoughts about this. To begin, I agree implicitly with everything he said. Secondly, in response to those who believe that the celebrity audience may have been embarrassed by his rant, I disagree. They're too stupid to be embarrassed. More than likely they heard him without understanding and laughed as is expected at a joke. Lastly, such a rant would be a career ending move in the entertainment industry, but I'm not so sure in this case. I suspect that he may have been given the green light by someone in power, given a promise of immunity. I hope my suspicions are true. If so, we can expect more and begin the fight to destroy the power of the Left in the popular culture by laughing at them. As Twain said, no one can stand in a gale of laughter

Sir he spoke the truth and some of his audience got it by the looks on their faces, the funny thing is when they mentioned Russel Crow and his pre-canned speech about Climate change after what Gervais said, it was priceless. I could watch anymore because it was just another circle jerk on TV.

SFC Marc W. - Well, now y'all know how much I pay attention to celebrities and their comings and goings. I responded in total ignorance of his past behavior. I was commenting only on the information in front of me

This was along time coming and what needed to be said about these overpaid hand puppets. Looking at their faces was priceless but they are actors after all and can just sit there with dumb smiles on their faces.

The tremendous lack of self-awareness by these numb-skulls in Hollywood is mind boggling. I don't really pay attention to any movies and rarely watch anything on television, so I couldn't tell you anything about any of them - I'm not even sure who Ricky Gervais is, but I very much like what he said in that monologue.
