Read the article. Non-emergency federal employees get day off. Emergency personnel and contractors still have work day

People taking leave is so prevalent on Christmas Eve that it is difficult to get business processes to even work properly. He can't tell us we have to take chargeable leave, so the past couple of years we got an EO to grant a holiday on the day.
