Talk about sending a message. Gun control was one of the top issues in VA during the 2019 election. The republicans eerent sleeping. But the people sent a real message about what they wanted by electing a democratic majority in both the house and senate for the first time in 25 years. Thats the message sent. A meaningless sanctuary declaration by less than 20% of the counties and independent towns (and likely an even smaller % of the population ) is just a stunt. The NRA and associated so called 2A groups just cant accept the fact that an overwhelming % of Americans in both psrties support reasonable gun control like universal background checks and vlising gun show loopholes.

I would be interested to see what data you arelooking at that makes you believe I am dead wrong about what the majority of the country believes about background checks and gun show loopholes. All the info I've seen shows a substantial majority of Americans support those issues.
