Evangelicals have always puzzled me. It seems to me that those who claim to stand on the moral high ground wouldn't be behind a President known for his morality issues. It also seems to me that they are more than willing to bend their own moral code if they get what they want. It also puzzles me that while they attack others for being immoral, they defend immoral acts of a President who in turn gives them what they want.
Being a religious man myself, it's not my place to judge, that's for God to decide. But that doesn't mean I can't stand by my own moral code and refuse to bend or break.
What's the point of having your own personal morals if you are willing to bend and break them if it somehow suits you down the road?
