One reform after this failure was improving special operations support as well as operators. As mentioned in the article, logistical support and aviation assets got prioritized. Although we had trained elite combatants then, we have elite pilots, planners and special operations support today to ensure all parts of the mission are properly resourced

I think Urgent Fury (Grenada) helped drive home the interoperability challenges on a larger scale vice raid and rescue sized incursion. Things started changing after that, based on all the AARs and media.
