The responses will vary here on RP. I can only imagine the horror that was before body cams and cell phone footage. There are good and bad cops for sure.

A little late to this one but I really hope that Veteran sued the hell out of that officer and the department that employed him!!!!

The thing I really hate about clips like these is that there's limited context. I've personally experienced "abuse" by the Police, and yes-they were fellow veterans. I've also seen cops put into impossible situations because of the fear of censure for doing what they must. I think a lot of it stems from lack of training (or confidence in the training they've received), lack of department/government/public support, and literally having no idea if their next stop will end with a simple, "thank you officer"... or a weapon being pulled. From what we can see, this looks like unnecessary and unproductive behavior.
