Good Mid-Afternoon my RP Brothers and Sisters.
I have been researching different weapons systems for air and ground support and in some cases both... I came across one that piqued my interest and it is a video about the Patriot Missile System and it is titled "How Powerful is America's Patriot Missiles"? This is a 10-minute video, but quite interesting... I am sharing it with you as an adjunct to all of America's Weapons systems... I don't expect that you will stop what you are doing to watch, but it is an interesting video... Drop me a note and let me know what you think about it!

Thanks brother Kerry, enjoyed my time with the PATRIOT Missile System and it was an awesome job other than assignment choices. They did a hell of a job improving the system over the years and are training was first notch IMO. Was in Ft. Bliss, Germany, Saudi, and Korea with this system and we were always ready.

When we shut the system down all those people got reclassed in to my MOS. Thus the reason I spent 5 years as an E-5P with 970 promo points

Passive-radar? Receive-only? How can they track anything with doesn't have active-guidance?

The active guidance is provided by the phased array ground radar... It acts as the guide for the missile!
