This is a last ditch attempt to get rid of him in the face of looming defeat at the polls. There is a good economy and the Democratic field is a bunch of unknowns or Bozos, a socialist, Fauxcahontas, and creepy Uncle Joe. They are beginning to realize there is no way they will win.

This has nothing to do with impeachment. This is simply a card being played in the game of politic. The next hand laid will be the FISA investigation. The Dems will need to counter that and the MSM and Never Trumpers are slowing showing their hand by using failed candidate Mitt Romney. The Ace is Barr. Or is he a wild card? If HRC jumps the shark- that will be the tell. Keep your powder dry.

Don't disagree. It is unlikely that this will be wrapped up by Nov 2020. If this tactic succeeds and the democrats win the presidency, do you think they will drop it?

PO1 (Join to see) - They would have to. You can't impeach someone not in office. The better question would be do they seek to prosecute after he leaves office. That is an open question.

1SG (Join to see) - True. I meant, would they consider continuing to prosecute him once he leaves office? Or would there be some call for a "time for healing" and they put it behind them?

I think if the charges are as serious as they say they are, they would have to pursue prosecution once he leaves. (If he leaves)
