Is there anyone that seriously believes 1000 American troops could have stopped them? I suppose we could have asked Congress to declare war, but by the time they refocussed from impeachment, it would be over. AND 1000 American troops would be dead or captured.

Turkey wouldn't have crossed the border without first getting Trump's okay and the Turks wouldn't have crossed knowing that are American troops embedded with the Kurds.
