The music on the special was just superb...Ricky Skagg sang "Don't Get Above Your Raisin'", Roseanne Cash sang her dad's "I Still Miss Someone"...and the stories that went with the songs and performers. They closed with "Will the Circle Be Unbroken".

I've always liked Ken Burns, Sgt Deborah Cornatzer, especially his series on baseball. However, I later found that he took a number of shortcuts in the baseball series, so I'm now somewhat more circumspect about his work. I'll watch Country Music anyway!
If you've never been to the Ryman Auditorium, put it on your bucket list. It was restored a number of years ago, and it's beautiful inside and out! The Grand Ole Opry still performs there a few times a year, so if you plan your trip, you can see the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman just like the old days. These photographs really don't convey just how pretty the Ryman is inside.
