This isn't going to begin going away until it stops being a news item. Smollett and his lawyers need to shut up. Then, in a few months, years, we'll forget and he can go back to being just another celebrity with a pretty good singing voice

CPT Jack Durish My guess would be that he and his lawyers are keeping it going for the media attention,Cpt, Jack.Otherwise he would just fade into history.
