In a documentary I watched regarding the Taliban, it gave an impression the AC-130 is the most feared plane.

LTC Eric Udouj - I trust the AC-130s have better and diverse weapons to include better optics? In the documentary about the Taliban I watched last night, once the Taliban knew the KC-130 was roaming overhead, they all split up in the mountains.

lol - is not a KC a re-fueler bird. lol AC is a gunship. But true enough - you could fly a KC up and everyone might also react like it was an AC. Deception operations still work.. when used.

By the way MAJ Ken Landgren - that documentary you saw - do you remember the name of the USAF SOF operator that was calling down the fires? If it was the early days.. Outstanding NCO and friend and mentor- lucky to have worked a bunch of things and places with him at SOCPAC.
