23-year-old Kendall Burk, a biology teacher at Grant County High School, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with four counts of sodomy and four counts of rape of a 15-year-old male student.
Under Kentucky law, sodomy is defined, in part, as deviate sexual intercourse with another person, which covers ‘any act of sexual gratification involving the sex organs of one person and the mouth of anus of another.’
Her LinkedIn page indicates that Burk graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2018 and has taught at the high school for just over a year.
