Nearly half of all Americans have worn the same underwear for days, study claims

Ok I change my underwear daily but I admit to owning some pair that are over 1 year old. Why would I throw out a perfectly servicable pair of undies? I wash them after every use and retire they as needed after a pre use visual inspection. If they are holey or otherwise damged they are garbage. What do you guys think? I am going to tag this humor because it is both funny and a bit gross...
