Interesting share. Maybe what's old is new again.

I am in line with their thinking. But I may not be the best person to say, I would bring back the Iowa class battleships and build the Montana class PO1 William "Chip" Nagel

CPL Dave Hoover Everybody Loves those Old Battle Wagons. They are just that Cost Effective running about a Million Dollars a Day to Operate and Manpower Intensive, Very Large Crew. Same Reason they Decommissioned the Nuclear Cruisers I Served On.

Gotta love the battleships! Nothing like 16 inches of artillery raining down on the beaches to support your landing force. Only problem tbh was their vulnerability to modern missiles. Even aircraft carriers could be made obsolete soon by hypersonic anti-ship missiles.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel it’s the Schrodinger’s ship, until something goes bad it is both a POS and not a POS.
