That's always been one of my favorite songs of the musical, PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, and it's an interesting rendition to say the least. It seems to me as though this artist gives a rather aggressive and perhaps a more angry tone to her version. The original Yvonne Elliman version was much more questioning and soulful in my opinion. What do you think?

This version is a little too interpretive a rendition for me...the original was decidedly better in my opinion, Colonel!

I had no clue, PO3 Bob McCord, but this is what Wikipedia had to say. "Colin Fleming of The Atlantic has identified 'The Story of Simon Simopath' (1967) by British psychedelic band Nirvana as the first recorded rock opera." Who knew?!

What do you think? I thought the same thing Stephen, although I do think that this woman's voice was as gorgeous as was Elliman's.
