A true HERO

I'm in awe of human courage and willingness to sacrifice.

After falling in love with the incredible aircraft at the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB when I was a little kid, I knew that I’d one day be an airman. Living in the vicinity of Wright- Patterson, everybody knew the story of “Pits” and his example inspired me to enlist. He was the embodiment of the motto, “ These things I do, that others may live”.
