Yeah, I suppose, though I could certainly perceive them being there, I mean, it's obv not great, of course, I'll agree with you on that, clearly, however, it's intl water, I'm just surprised at the sheer needless proximity of both vessels as shown in the photo, that aspect made me esp wonder more about the whole thing, you know?

Common practice by the Russians, in the air, on the ocean and under the ocean. Air ops were underway to land a helicopter, requiring straight course, International Navigation Rules support our version.
