I pray that you and I remain calm, respectful and gracious in the face of criticism and that we always remember to treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Robert Thornton.
LORD I pray that YOU enable and empower each of YOUR own to be humble without humiliating us. Renew aright spirit in each of us to be kind and compassionate and forthright without adding unnecessary offense.
Give us insight dear God in ways we ourselves can change to improve circumstances and relationships. Help us to focus on ourselves when change would be beneficiary. Empower us to outwardly focused in helping others who need help. Empower us to serve without requiring thanks in any form.
I pray dear God that YOU protect widows, widowers, orphans, the despondent and destitute from abuse and belittling criticism. Raise up people to defend them in the streets, homes and courts.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

“He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help.”
― Abraham Lincoln
I think some critics do so because they take pleasure in recognizing their own faults of themselves in others. If the criticism is done out of love and the heart to help another, it is justified. Otherwise, it is not constructive in my opinion.

I've always found constructive criticism to be good in the right settings, esepcially when it comes to training in the dangerous business of the military SFC William Farrell For new recruits it can be life saver. Then there is the criticism used to hurt people and individuals for no appranet reason or value by those who have no understanding whatsoever of the individuals, programs, or groups are actually doing or representing. Those individual just need to keep their opinions to themselves - you know what they say about opinions Bill! Have a great afternoon and evening brother@
