Judge rules banks can hand over Trump financial records to Congress

A federal judge dealt a blow to President Donald Trump on Wednesday, ruling that two banks can hand over his financial documents in response to congressional subpoenas.
The Trump family and company sued Deutsche Bank and Capital One last month in an effort to block them from turning over financial documents sought by Congress. The House Intelligence and Financial Services committees had issued subpoenas to several banks as part of their investigations of alleged foreign influence on U.S. elections.
In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos said he disagrees with the arguments from the Trump family attorneys that the subpoenas don't have a legitimate legislative purpose.
Ramos described the subpoenas as "undeniably broad" but "clearly pertinent."
Ramos issued his ruling after hearing arguments from lawyers representing the Trump and the Democratic-controlled congressional committees.

I would like to see all of Congress' financial records, I think that would prove interesting.

And what are the Dems going to do when there is nothing "impeachable" in his banking records? Remember when the rally cry was "We have to wait for the Mueller report!" How dod that work out for them. Remember this, what is good for the goose is good fro the gander, and there are a sh#tload of Democrat politicians that have become awfully wealthy on a government salary....

Once again those comments about "Democrat politicians that have become awfully wealthy on a government salary...." when a little research will show that to be untrue.
As to the Muller report, when we get to see the entire thing, some may see that Trump is not the innocent, persecuted person they think. Read what is out there and it is easy to see Trump was never exonerated of anything.

I think this is more about finding out who does business with Trump, and going after them to make it uncomfortable to do business with Trump. I don't think this is about oversight at all, if it were there would be a lot of democrats in jail, starting with Hillary Clinton.
