The Adjutant of our VFW Post is a retired Marine major female and she often remarks on the lack of respect and recognition that she receives when visiting the VA hospital. Sad, she's earned more than most men who served...

Maj Kim Patterson I just read the abstract and I can't speak for everyone, but in my view, there should be NO discrimination of Female Military Veterans or any Veteran for that matter... Yet from my experience since 2009, I have only had one marginally bad situation with a medical professional (and I short circuited that in about 15 seconds) at the VA's Boston Healthcare System!!!
