One of the most rational things I've heard coming out of Europe in recent times. War is no longer the purview of nations. It is waged by people against people and disarming your own citizens is to ally yourself with their enemies...

With the knowledge citizens are encouraged to defend themselves, it should serve as a huge deterent to terrorist activities.

Sounds like some common sense is still present in Europe! Of course, the memory of Hitler confiscating their guns may still be present in their attitude! I wish we could impress on the liberals in America how important the legal gun owners in our country would be in a true crisis.
