Let's be honest. Who cares? Her adoring legions who attend her events? Hell no, not them. They don't know any more than she and couldn't care less. The public at large? Hell no, not them. Who really cares about history. A few nutters like me who have made it a life's passion. What do we count for? Not much. Sadly, history is ruined by historians. No one taught me my love of history. Indeed, my teachers did all they could to destroy any interest in the subject and, for most (probably even you) they succeeded. As an autodidact, whatever I learned came from my own efforts and interests. Thus, AOC can continue spouting inanities without fear, and those who share her ignorance will happily march into the abyss of socialism. Learning then will arrive too late...
