NASA Is Considering Deep Sleep for Human Mars Mission

In previous Mars Shares, I have covered unmanned missions to Our nearest Solar System neighbor, Mars... But when we are ready to send humans to Mars, assuming we use today's level of Rockets, it will take some 180-days to get there... A long time, for sure, to be in a small capsule environment... It has often been said that the dreams of those who write science fiction at some point become reality... There is a trilogy written by Author: Kim Stanley Robinson entitled "Red Mars", "Green Mars" and "Blue Mars", which had its first publication in April, 1996... I have read the three and it is all about going to Mars, and Terraforming it... It is an amazing read if one is interested>>>
