Capitalism is responsible for bringing more prosperity to more people in the history of the world, than any other economic system ever invented. It's not "democratic socialism", or progressive-ism or whatever -ism they try rewording government control of the economy.

The US was founded on capitalistic principles of limited government, protected by a constitutional republic- by a people guaranteed the right to bear arms, by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.

Along with the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, required reading by US High Schools and Colleges should be: #1 The Wealth of Nations, by Adam Smith, #2 The Road to Serfdom by Frederick Hayek, #3 Liberty and Prosperity, by Ludwig Von Mises.
