GEORGE CARLIN - THE SORCERY OF NEWSPEAK

I find it interesting to learn the latest newspeak language. Spun by our politically correct media outlets. Just recently, I have learned a new coined term. Now , instead of the law enforcement term of "forced entry". It is called " un-invited intruder " ! What ? So, I guess that make's me the Home dweller instead of Tenant , or home owner.

Lets just make it generic as much as possible ! No wonder people have diarrhea of the mouth these days, We are all caught off guard ! We don't know how to answer these days . Before one speaks, we need a new politcally correct phrase book to view before we open our mouth to talk. After all, we do not want to offend anyone !

I know one thing ! I am not changing the way I reference and or, talk with someone because of Newspeak. Not going to happen ! But ,I can try to speak generic just to make it confusing. Just trying to help "gum up the works " ! LOL !

The term newspeak was coined by George Orwell in his 1949 anti-utopian novel 1984. In Orwell's fictional totalitarian state, Newspeak was a language favored by the minions of Big Brother and, in Orwell's words, "designed to diminish the range of thought." Newspeak was characterized by the elimination or alteration of certain words, the substitution of one word for another, the interchangeability of parts of speech, and the creation of words for political purposes. The word has caught on in general use to refer to confusing or deceptive bureaucratic jargon.
