We all know what Cohen is going to say. It's not a surprise. We've been hearing it for a year or more. The question is, "Does it even matter?"
Even if everything he said were true, would anyone here change their mind about POTUS? So what if he made hush-money payments from this account or that account? Does that cast any relevant light on anything he's done in office? So what if he knew that Don Jr. had some talks with Russians about "adoptions" which were really dirt digging sessions on Clinton? Is it relevant that POTUS told reporters he didn't know anything about the Stormy Daniels payments when he was personally writing those checks? Is what POTUS does/did/didn't do to get elected relevant to his position in office? And now they're talking about "tax fraud" from years ago? Is that important? Is what POTUS did or didn't do to avoid taxes a decade ago relevant to who he is today? Should that time, prior to the election events, be "off limits" for investigation or charges of criminal activity?
He's the President. Surely that should count for some kind of privilege against past bad acts or crimes, right? Heck, there hasn't been any black and white PROOF of any specific crimes - so, shouldn't everyone just let it go? Should POTUS previous demonstrations of character and ethics be relevant to how he is perceived now?
Can't we all just along? How come President Trump didn't get a "fresh start" upon his election? A clean slate to work the priorities of the nation? Didn't we give every other President the full support and fresh start when they were elected?

LTC Eugene Chu - Maybe, but I doubt that any prosecutor is going to look at it unless it was paid for out of campaign funds or claimed it as a business expense, which according to Cohen, wasn't the case.
But again, process crimes instead of felonies. OTOH, Nixon was force to resign to avoid impeachment for trying to steal information from the Democrats. Here the former Administration, DNC, DOJ, FBI and NSA all colluded to spy on the Trump and Sanders campaigns, Trump based on a fraudulent FISA warrant obtained using information that everyone involved knew was both unreliable and paid for by the Clinton Campaign. Had this been a Republican President, the Democrats and the Press would be calling for a lynching.
I swore an oath to protect the Constitution, not the Democrat or Republican parties, and I never served under a President for whom I voted. The last election made the US look like a third world country, with groups of paid masked "protestors" actively intimidating law abiding opposition party voters, the Press and DNC actively undermining one of their own candidates, then members of both parties and way too many top ranking Federal Officials conspiring to unseat a legally elected President. Whether you like Trump or not, he is the legally, by the Constitution, elected President, and no Federal Official has the right to second guess the will of the electorate.

Facebook has been a joke for years and now there are alternate platforms that are attracting a lot of the Non Progressive people. OTOH, I agree that the next Presidential election may be nasty. I'm former Infantry and a Combat Engineer, so I will say that turning the other cheek is not one of my strong points. What do these morons in Antifas and other think will happen if you force Flyover America to fight back?

I get a kick out of those who say that no one should listen to Cohen now because he is a "known liar". Yet the stuff he lied about (Trump not knowing about the Daniels payments; Trump Tower Moscow negotiations stopping before Trump got nominated as republican candidate) were the things that supposedly cleared Trump of wrong doing. So since he lied about that stuff, then by definition the truth is that, contrary to what Trump has told the American public (and yes, there is video) Trump did direct and know about the payments and did authorize and know about the continued negotiations with the Russians.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - The Moscow project was for a "Trump" Tower......not a "Cohen" Tower. Stands to reason the bridge was built by Democrats......don't see much infrastructure projects underway.....unless the "wall" counts as infrastructure. And tell me this......with Cohen being such a liar, and a bad person, and a rat......why in the world did Trump have him as his personal attorney for over a decade? Doesn't he only hire the "best" people? When the feds raided his office and home, Trump called it a crime against the country.......now it's more like, thank goodness they got that scoundrel. You can't believe the FBI when they say Trump is a crook......but you can believe them when they say Cohen is a crook. None of this actually matters.....because if the Southern District of New York is going after the Trump organization for illegal financial activities......Cohen won't be the only Trump employee that flips.......and once their CFO decides to save himself.....that organization is cooked. It won't matter what Mueller comes out with.....the money trail will sink the Trumps.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - so it turns out that Trump is a stand-up guy. He never cheated on his wives, never paid off women to keep silent, never cheated people out of the money for their services on his projects, paid off the Trump University people out of the goodness of his heart, and the poor man had a rogue attorney that went around threatening people, and cleaning up his messes for ten years, without his knowledge or approval. And Russia forced their help on him......again, without his knowledge or approval. People all around him were meeting with Russians.....but Trump knew nothing. There is tape of Don Jr. bragging about how they don't need the U.S. banks, because they can get all the money they need from Russia......but Trump himself claims to have had no business with Russia at all......he said so, many times. The meeting in Trump Tower never happened.....then it did happen, but it was about adoptions.....then it did happen, and it was supposed to be about dirt on Hillary.....but that didn't happen. He didn't know anything about the payments to Stormy Daniels......then his attorney made them, without his knowledge.....then the tape recording came out, and then the reimbursement checks showed up. You can continue to believe Trump over all others, and over direct evidence, if you choose to. I choose not.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro there are plenty of reports, from multiple sources, about both Trump sons talking about their Russian funding sources in front of conferences. You speak of the Trump Tower meeting as though you were there.....or are you repeating what you've been told from a source you believe? What happened to your insistence on facts? It comes down to who you believe.....and you choose to believe right wing media, and Donald Trump. Good luck with that.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - But they did uncover other crimes. They found out that almost everyone involved in the original FISA warrant knew that it came from an unreliable source tied to the Clinton Campaign and didn't indicate that to the judge. How many counts of lying to Congress between Clapper, Comey, and McCabe?

Well, he did lie about not wanted to be involved in the campaign/position, that he was caught up in all of this, if you read the sentencing it says "During and after the campaign, Cohen privately told friends and colleagues, including in seized text messages, that he expected to be given a prominent role and title in the new administration. When that did not materialize, Cohen found a way to monetize his relationship with and access to the President." Which is on page 27 of 40, if he's lying about this then what else is he lying about. Or better question, why waste the time?
