The ACFT is wholly impractical for the Guard and Reserve.

$40 million in workout equipment doesn’t even scratch the surface, they need around $71 million. Pushed timeline doesn’t help our compo 2/3 brethren either. Guard/Reserve leadership will need to intervene so that this forced measure can be implemented without risk to readiness.

Honestly the only way this will be pulled off by the reserve component is one test a year during annual training (use the equipment at the training station) There is neither the funding nor the space at most reserve centers.

However, many reservists do not have two weeks straight of annual training.MAJ (Join to see)

The logistical challenges are the hard part for Guard and Reserves. How will the equipment needed get to where it's needed. A battalions are often spread over many miles and companies are often further broken down to detachments in other towns.

Dude, it's like 10 pushups and one knee up. Not exactly strenuous. You can walk the 2 mile run in the 21+ minutes allowed.
